UPLOADING FILES

The uploading procedure is the same for all file types. I'm going to demonstrate with a graphics file.

Make sure you upload only the files meant for the subdirectory you have open.

Upload to Subdirectories

1. Log in on the GeoCities Home page

2. Click on EDIT PAGES

3. Enter the File Manager

4. Open the images subdirectory, ....(or whatever you named it)

This is what you'll see when you open the subdirectory:

Your subdirectory is now open and ready for file uploads

5. Locate EZ Upload.

6. Click on a .....Browse button

A window similar to this will open:

7. On your hard drive or disk, open the folder containing your graphic and
....music files

8. Select a file in the folder; open it.

After you open it, it will show up in the Browse selection window:

9. After all the browse windows are full (or you have as many files as you .....want to upload opened), click Upload Files

This tells you the file upload was successful:

Upload, No Subdirectories

If you are not using subdirectories, just open the File Manager, go straight to EZ-Upload and follow the upload procedure above, skipping step 4.
