Shown below is the main window you see when starting foneCost.
Start
Starts timing a call using the currently selected service. The services system is the way in which foneCost
allows you to select the call rates are used. See below for more information.
Options
Displays the Options window allowing you to set call charges and customise the way foneCost works.
Service
Allows you to select, modify, create or remove services.
About
Displays information about foneCost.
Exit
Quits foneCost.

The cost of calls tab allows you to set the cost of phone calls in different regions and time bands. To find out the
definition of any of the column or row titles, hold the mouse over the title in question.
All prices should be in pence and include Value Added Tax.

The discount rates tab allows you to define any discount rates which may apply to you. Three discount
rates are available for your use. To define a discount check one of the three boxes, then type the discount
name and the rate.

Stay of top of other programs ensures that foneCost will always be visible.
Minimise window when timer is started will minimise the foneCost window to a button on the
Windows Taskbar. You can choose whether you want the length or cost of the call to be displayed
when in this mode. See example below:

You can choose whether you want foneCost to notify you when the time and/or the cost reach
certain values.
To enable a warning, check the appropriate box and then type the value required.

Service Window
To choose the service you want to use, click the down arrow on the right of the Name of Service
box and then select the relevant service from the list.
To modify rates or discount rates, just select the relevant options once the required service
has been selected.
To delete a service, select it and click the Delete button.
To add a new service, type the name in the box at the top. Click on the Add button, then set
the rates and discount rates options.
