Allowing visitors to e-mail you
Sometimes It's nice to let visitors to your site contact you personally with questions or comments. This gives an interactive slant to your site and can make it a lot more fun.
For a great example of how simple e-mail can allow visitors to contribute to your site, visit Dream Life, which allows visitors to ask questions and submit recipes amongst other things.
Basic e-mail
To allow visitors to e-mail you, all you need is this basic code:
<a href="mailto:email@oocities.com">e-mail me</a>
Substitute your e-mail address here and (if you want) change the "e-mail me" message to anything you like!
E-mail with automatic subject
When you send e-mail you're given the option of including the subject of the e-mail at the top of the message. When you use the following code, not only will your "e-mail me" message appear on a groovy button, but the subject box will automatically be filled in with the text of your choice!
Follow this format:
<FORM>
<INPUT TYPE="button" VALUE="Text to appear on button"
onClick="parent.location='mailto:add email address here?subject=add message subject here'">
</FORM>
