Dear Mommy,
I am in Heaven now, sitting on God's lap. He loves me and cries with me; for my heart has been broken. I so wanted to be your little girl. I don't quite understand what has happened. I was so excited when I began realizing my existence. I was in a dark, yet comfortable place. I saw I had fingers and toes. I was pretty far along in my developing, yet not near ready to leave my surroundings. I spent most of my time thinking or sleeping.
Even from my earliest days, I felt a special bonding between you and me. Sometimes I heard you crying and I cried with you. Sometimes you would yell or scream, then cry. I heard Daddy yelling back. I was sad, and hoped you would be better soon. I wondered why you cried so much. One day you cried almost all of the day. I hurt for you. I couldn't imagine why you were so unhappy.
That same day, the most horrible thing happened. A very mean monster came into that warm, comfortable place I was in. I was so scared, I began screaming, but there was no sound. I guess they had you all pinned down because you never once tried to help me. Maybe you never heard me. The monster got closer and closer as I was screaming and screaming, "Mommy, Mommy, help me please; Mommy, help me."
Complete terror is all I felt. I screamed and screamed until I thought I couldn't anymore. Then the monster started ripping my arm off. It hurt so bad; the pain I can never explain. It didn't stop. Oh, how I begged it to stop. I screamed in horror as it ripped my leg off. Though I was in such complete pain, I realized I was dying. I knew I would never see your face or hear you say how much you love me.
I wanted to make all your tears go away. I had so many plans to make you happy. Now I couldn't; all my dreams were shattered. Though I was in utter pain and horror, I felt the pain of my heart breaking, above all. I wanted more than anything; to be your daughter. No use now, for I was dying a painful death. I could only imagine that terrible things they had done to you. I wanted to tell you that I love you before I was gone, but I didn't know the words you could understand. And soon no longer I had the breath to say them; I was dead. I felt myself rising. I was being carried by a huge angel into a big, beautiful place.
I was still crying, but the physical pain was gone. The angel took me to Jesus and set me on His lap. He said: "He loved me, and He was my Father." Then I was happy. I asked Him what the thing was that killed me. He answered, "Abortion. I am sorry, my child; for I know how it feels." I don't know what abortion is; I guess that's the name of the monster.
I'm writing to say that I love you and to tell you how much I wanted to be your little girl. I tried very hard to live. I wanted to live. I had the will, but I couldn't; the monster was too powerful It sucked my arms and legs off and finally got all of me. It was impossible to live. I just wanted you to know I tried to stay with you. I didn't want to die. Also, Mommy, please watch out for that abortion monster.
Mommy, I love you and I would hate you to go through the kind of pain I did. Please be careful.

This was written by a 16 year old girl on the horror of abortion from The baby's point of view. It is touching and may sway some minds to become pro-life. Please send this letter to everyone you know! We must do all we can to stop abortion!!
Life is precious, true and pure
But before it has a chance death draws near.
Why are we more concerned for animals and their rights?
But human babies are discarded like trash in the night?
How can we continue to deny the truth of life
And bring upon a woman future emotional strife?
Is there no end to all of the lies?
Would they end if we heard the child's cries?
Would the truth become painfully clear?
If we could see the babies tears?
Would science have anything to gain
If they could experience the babies pain?
How long can we allow this horror to continue?
Could those mothers who've suffered speak out what is
true?
Could they speak out against deceptions they've been
told:
that there is no life inside them,
that the life within is cold.
There has to be a stop to this madness...
That brings to so many lives pain and sadness.
All who are affected suffer a loss,
But it continues to go on, and at what cost?
Have we destroyed the cure for cancer, or for AIDS?
What is the price of human life we've paid?
The circle of the horror never ceases.
The deception goes on and death increases...
Abortion kills more than babies...
I just heard something very disturbing about it on the
Dr. Dobson - Focus on the Family show yesterday. An
ex-abortionist Doctor did a film through live ultrasound
on 50 abortions at a clinic of another doctor he knew.
The film showed the baby contorting it's face and opening
it's mouth like a cry while it's limbs were being torn
off through the suction process. He's tried to get it
aired on primetime and even public programs but with no
luck. We should pray that God would open a door for this
information to be seen on national tv. We have to pray
that the truth would be made known. The doctor that was
performing those abortions stopped when he saw the
footage. It has been proven that the ultrasounds were not
tampered with in any way by the man who invented
ultrasound technology. If people knew this truth then
more children could be saved. Let's pray together and
believe God to open a big door for this truth to be made
known.

There's a preacher and wife who are very, very, poor. They already have 14 kids. Now she finds out she's pregnant with 15th. They're living in tremendous poverty. Considering their poverty and the excessive world population, would you consider recommending she get an abortion?
The father is sick with sniffles, the mother has TB. They have 4 children. 1st is blind, 2nd is dead, 3rd is deaf, 4th has TB. She finds she's pregnant again. Given the extreme situation, would you consider recommending abortion?
A white man raped a 13 year old black girl and she got pregnant. If you were her parents, would you consider recommending abortion?
A teenage girl is pregnant. She's not married. Her fiance is not the father of the baby, and he's very upset. Would you consider recommending abortion?
In the first case, you have just killed John Wesley. One of the great evangelists in the 19th century.
In the second case, you have killed Beethoven.
In the third case, you have killed Ethel Waters, the great black gospel singer.
If you said yes to the fourth case, you have just declared the murder of Jesus Christ!
Abortionist takes a dramatic turn to Christ. A man who owned or partially owned 26 abortion clinics in the United States has become a Christian and abandoned all ties with the abortion business.
...Eric Harrah, 30, made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ last November after providing abortions for the past decade. The clinics were the second-largest group of abortion providers in the country, he said, estimating that 250,000 abortions were performed there in 10 years.
...Harrah has resigned from all the clinics and has
renounced his previous lifestyle, which included
homosexuality, addiction to cocaine, and frequent use of
profanity. He had maintained a long-standing homosexual
relationship with Dr. Steven Bringham, an abortionist
whose medical license was revoked in New York after being
accused of injuring women during abortions. Florida also
revoked Bringham's license, and he voluntarily retired
his Pennsylvania license while under investigation, news
reports said.
..."I am very happy and very grateful to
God," Harrah told Religion Today. "God is good.
He hears prayers and can save anybody." He spoke by
telephone from State College, Pa., where he is residing
with Assembly of God pastor Paul Grabill, who was
instrumental in leading Harrah to his newfound
faith, and with Grabill's family.
...Harrah attended services at a United Pentecostal
church in Dover, Del., every Sunday as a child, but
stopped when he was 17, he told the Pentecostal Evangel.
He became active in politics, and at age 18 was elected
president of the state's chapter of the National
Organization for Women, the first
man to be elected to such a position, he said.
...Because of his church upbringing, "I knew that abortion was wrong.. I'd say about the last five years I was having serious depression and guilt over my involvement, which led to my cocaine addiction," Harrah said in an interview published by Life Issues Institute, a pro-life group based in Cincinnati. "I hated putting babies in strainers and rinsing them off and putting them in zip-lock bags."
..."I saw myself doing things like, in the morning getting up and watching the 700 Club just trying to have some tie back to my Christian roots."
...Harrah's life was transformed in State College, where he went in 1997 to open a clinic near Penn State University. Massive protests broke out every day after the clinic opened. Harrah disliked State College, and spent his time shuttling between New York, Los Angeles, London, and Paris.
...In August, Harrah prayed for the first time in years, asking God "if what I am doing is so terrible" to send someone to show him the right way. "I was tired of people not being nice to me. I just wanted someone who was nice," he told the Evangel.
...Steve Stupar, an elder at State College Assembly of
God, came to the clinic and told Harrah he wanted to pray
for him and talk with him. Stupar told Harrah he was
there because Harrah had asked God for help. "The
hair on the back of my neck stood up, and I got scared
and ran back to my
office," Harrah said. Stupar returned day after day,
even though Harrah refused to speak to him. Eventually
Harrah consented to have lunch with Stupar, and in a
restaurant Stupar told Harrah he had come to set him
free.
...Stupar said God had given him a vision of a dinner plate that was full of blue pills with white bands, and asked Harrah if that image meant anything to him. Harrah said he had contemplated suicide a week before, and nearly used a massive dose of pain pills that fit that description to kill himself. "That is when I knew it was time to give in," Harrah said. He made a commitment to Jesus Christ on Nov. 1 in pastor Grabill's office.
...Harrah went to Grabill and Stupar's church the next Sunday, the first time he had been in a church in 11 years. He was extremely nervous, but the congregation made him feel welcome, he said. Hundreds of members of the congregation had been praying for him, and they had held an all-night prayer meeting for him the night he became a Christian, Harrah later learned.
...Since Harrah was well known in State College as a contentious opponent of Christians, his conversion made newspaper headlines there and across the country. The volume of abortions in State College fell after the news because potential patients realized that what they were about to do was wrong, he said.
...Harrah speaks at churches and to pro-life groups, giving advice and sometimes divulging shocking information. Towns that do not already have an abortion clinic should enact laws preventing medical, surgical centers from being located within city limits before it is too late, he said.
...Picketing is unproductive-especially when demonstrators are loud, obnoxious, and tell people they are going to hell- because it only infuriates the patients and practitioners, Harrah said. But "sidewalk counselors," especially older women, are effective when they hold conversations with prospective patients and hand them a crisis pregnancy center brochure. Literature that depicts fetal development also has an impact on patients, he said. The "Life, What a Beautiful Choice" advertisement on television, which included happy babies, made him feel guilty, he said.
...The abortion business was "easy money," Harrah said. Doctors make roughly $100,000 a year for performing abortions one day a week at a clinic, and an average clinic that performs 8,000 abortions a year grosses about $1 million, he said. Insurance companies offer incentives to physicians for performing abortions because they would rather pay $2,000 for the procedure than $7,000 for prenatal care, labor, and delivery, he said.
...Abortionists are treated as heroes by some celebrities and politicians, Harrah said. He was given special seating at hearings for U.S. Supreme Court nominations, he said.
...The reasons people get involved in the abortion industry are money and "because they really feel it is helping women," he said. But even people with altruistic motives eventually "convert to the fact that it's all about money," he said. "You just start looking at them as dollar bills...Toward the very end, I think I ended up hating [the women]." Even doctors who do the abortions begin to hate their patients, especially those who come in repeatedly for the procedure, he said. The doctors "become mean, rough."
...Harrah says he is at peace with God and with himself. He is taking one day at a time and is writing a tell-all book about the abortion industry. He advises pro-life audiences to deal with people who are calloused toward God by praying for them, loving them, and treating them kindly. People "came to me and didn't ridicule me or call me names, but reached out to me. It gets through to them eventually. I know, it got through to me."
...Pro-life groups experience a certain battle fatigue, but "they need to know that their efforts have made a difference. Unfortunately, they don't hear that enough," Harrah said. "I understand that people are tired, but they need to get re-energized."

America Online, according to the CEO Steve Case's newsletter, is now getting into making grants to organizations that purportedly help people in the inner city by making "health care information and services more widely available to people who don't currently have access to them."
AOL is taking suggestions on the issue of whom to fund from members. Planned Parenthood is almost sure to ask for funds from the AOL Foundation, if they haven't already, to fund promotion of abortion in the inner cities of the U.S.
If you are associated with a Crisis Pregnancy Center (CPC), consider emailing America Online and asking them how you can obtain information on securing a grant for your center.
ACTION: Email SocialGood@aol.com (our opinions have been solicited) and ask them to refrain from funding Planned Parenthood or abortion activities. Instead, encourage them to support the work of national crisis pregnancy center organizations, such as Birthright or CareNet.
