Notes

This Cheetah writeup differs from that for the standard Cheetah given in the Hero Bestiary because it is for use in a Superhero game. The character is designed as a Superhero that happens to be an animal, not just as an animal. Therefore the character does get the benefit of Elemental Controls, Distinctive Features, and other advantages and limitations things that standard animals don't get to take advantage of. On the other hand, it does not get an Animal Bonus.

Second, note this was never your standard, run-of-the-pampas Cheetah. This was a cheetah specially selected by the CIA for their Super-soldier project, so is a bit stronger, faster, more intelligent, etc., than the norm. The 100 mph maximum running speed is a bit high for a natural animal, but not out of order for a comic book campaign. This form can run down cars. The endurance expenditure for top speed running is high - 30 seconds at top speed will exhaust the Cheetah.

Finally, note that this form has different Psychological Limitations than the base form. If it sees a forest or tree filled park it may dash off to it (no matter the situation) in hopes that it may be home. It has no code against killing, and does not hate the CIA as an organization - the concept of an organization is foreign to it. It has nothing against cruelty to animals (other than itself, and possibly other cheetahs from its pack, should it find one).
