Life At Vista

What can I say about life at Vista Way? Sometimes it was boring, sometimes is was exciting, some days you didn't want to get out of bed. Sounds pretty normal. But, just because it sounds normal doesn't mean it was normal. I mean, how often do you get awoken from your sleep from a guy screaming it's time for Barker? For me, that was a daily occurrence thanks to the Titman. REPRESENT KIRK!! That's just a start as to how we passed the time at Vista. Take a look at what else we did.

Water Balloons

As previously stated, we hated that damn light pole outside the apartment. So, we decided to knock it out. Now, normal terrorism by blowing it up would have surely gotten us caught, so we decided the best way was to knock it out with water balloons (and other assorted "pullable" objects). So, with the sound of "PULL!!" screaming through the night, off go the water balloons at the pole. Take a look at what we had.

Here we are preparing for a night of pulling, our term for throwing stuff at the light. This was a good night. We never usually had this many people. I still remember the night we had a 3 level pull... it was a thing of beauty. 3 levels mean we had people on 3 floors throwing. Let me think of a word to describe it...TITS!! (Our word for really cool or great) Is this an incriminating pic or what?

Joe and Kirk were the pulling pros. They hit the pole with more shit than everyone else combined. So, to commemorate their achievements, I decided to take an action shot of them pulling. I liken this one to a Sports Illustrated cover. If only we could find a magazine dedicated to the art of pulling, this pic would make the cover.

This is a personal favorite of mine and I have to say that it was my idea. If you can't tell, that is a condom filled with water. In case you were wondering what that feels like, Joe likened it to a breast implant. So, Joe threw it and it was pretty cool. It wasn't the greatest flight in the world, but I liked it.

Now, the girls from across the hall decided they wanted to attack us with water guns. Well, we retaliated with water balloons and buckets of water. This picture represents Brenda and Brandy after they tried to attack with ponchos and little water guns. We responded with a bucket full of water. Don't mess with 2007!!!

Sleep

After a long night of pulling (water balloons), one tended to get tired during the day, so a lot of time at Vista was spent sleeping when we were off.

Chris and Kirk fast asleep. Ahhh, the wild days at Vista.

Joe asleep with his teddy. I told him nobody would see this...OH WELL!!!!

Slumber Parties

One time we decided to have a slumber party. Well, pretty much everyone left. But, in the later months, Brenda decided it was easier to sleep at our apartment than try and get into her bedroom with her roommates multiple boyfriends. So, she dragged a mattress over and started staying with me and Kirk.

Here she is tucked away between me and Kirk's beds for the night.

Sometimes Joe and Brenda took the whole slumber party idea a little too far and decided to slumber together. Gee, it's a good thing Joe didn't have a girlfriend at the time, huh?

Making A Mess

You know, we were all reasonable intelligent people. We figured that since we were leaving a couple of days later, we surely weren't going buy a whole new box of dishwashing liquid. So, we thought a little bit of Dawn dish cleaner would work. Well, it turns out that it didn't. Here's what it happened when we tried it.

At this time when we should all be cleaning the soap up, Kirk decided that he should represent the mess, so I decided to record the event for posterity.

Here is what the mess looked like at the height of the flow.

Drink

Sure, we all signed up for a Wellness apartment that was supposed to stop drinking and smoking. Well, it turns up we all signed up for it so that we wouldn't get stuck with a smoker. So, there was plenty liquor and beer flowing. Only 1 picture though.

Here is Joe funneling a couple of beers. In my mind, this is the most artistic picture I took the whole time we were there.

Lagniappe

The Lagniappe Section has been temporarily removed due to complaints from the subject of the previous picture. Sure, we all know Brenda has a nice ass, but if she doesn't want it on the Internet, I have to respect that. If you would like a copy of the picture, you can purchase one from me for $19.95 plus shipping and handling. Email me for the address.
