Dear AMS,

I found your website today while searching Mickey Rooney. (Readers:This is in reference to My Life: The Saga Continues)

I met him on Saturday near the SF airport and wished I could have asked him about you. I'm sure he would have like to have known that you are okay.

You should do infommercials on what ever you use to keep yourself looking so young.

I love your writing,
A grateful pezhead

Hey Brenda!

So glad you wrote to let me know you've seen Mickey lately and he's well and busy traveling. (Or was he just wandering around near the airport? You didn't say…) Anyway, I've really been remiss about keeping in touch with him over the years. I'm sure he still thinks about me from time to time and so it would have been great if you could have assured him that yes, this centenarian is still alive and looking forward to that next century mark.

As for my youthful appearance, I think part of it has to do with how I treat my skin. Despite what facial experts may say, I find that using soap on a daily basis, particularly the harsh brands, is removing all my dead layers of skin. (its at least removing my eyebrows and body hair, that's for sure.) Plus, if anything, its keeping my skin tight. Sometimes it hurts its that tight. And that's what I want. I must warn you, though, that one washing per day is all I recommend. Two and you may need medical treatment. And stay out of the sun as this dramatically increases the constant burning sensation. But resist using creams as this will only moisturize your skin and cause those wrinkles to drop right back into place. So that's my secret to youthfulness, I guess. Either that or all the nuclear testing that was done in the 1940's and 1950's has possibly genetically damaged my cells causing them to age much slower. Who knows?
Thanks for writing!
Suz
