Virus' Adventures Of Sinbad Fan Fiction Page

The Search For Jasmine - Danielle
Remember those old text adventures where you had to type instructions? This story reads like a transcript from one of them, all "Sinbad says 'hello'" and "Sinbad picks up the bottle". You laugh at this script - not with it. Oh, and the formatting is dreadful. Bad. [1/5]

Matters Of The Heart - Shelley and Danielle
This story was written by two people - and yes, you can see the join. There is a hoary old plot that moves as if on video; some scenes are fully enacted, others are skipped through in a couple of lines. The characters are cardboard cut outs (although they were in the series, too) and some show up and do nothing, they just hang around in the background. The writing lurches from pleasantly good to abominably bad, and where the cliffhanger (is there a second part?) should have the reader on the edge of their proverbial seats, I just couldn't care less. A Pirates Life For Jasmine
The most unbelievable villains and unlikely heroes in the world make up the cast of this story. The heroine pulls a stunt that we've all seen a million times before, but if she was lying all the time, how come her thoughts followed along the lines of the lie? If you're confused by that, don't even try to understand the writing, it's all "wanna", "gonna" and "should of" and the punctuation has gone on holiday. A fanfic has got to be bad when I can't even give it credit for the classic howler "Feisty one aren't you?" (minus question mark). The scarey thing is, I think the author meant that line to be taken seriously . . . [1/5]

Sword Dance - Kathi Sea/Sheherazade
The opening of this story is more like a recap of previous events - the author(s) obviously had one thing in mind for the fanfic, and one thing only. The writing vears horribly from passable to incomprehensible, and believe you me, more than a few lines had me scratching my head. There are too many typos as well. [1.5/5]
