Born in Mélida (Navarra), Spain, she currently
lives in Zaragoza, Spain. Fascinated by the European impressionists and
the Oriental paintings on silk she started a hard investigative task on
techniques of which this is a sample. If every artist, in the creative process
looks for identifying elements to distinguish the originality of the own
work, Inmaculada Arricivita has accurately found the way to leave her imprint
make her mark in the use of her exclusively own mixed techniques and in
the use of silk as the solely material to paint on.
She has achieved an original aesthetic expression, creative
and wholly ionovative that with no limits, allows the spectatotors discern
as much as their imagination and sensibility may perceive in the dizzy and
suggestive game of chromatic explosions, impressions and formal fantasies
of her paintings. Beyond the fargoing controversy between abstract and representational
art, her unusual works open a third way, that of the painting defined by
a wise use of colours and their capacity of suggestion. Her works and exhibitions
have had excellent reviews and become a series of successes.
