Jeanne Ackerley, Interiors, Display Artist. She studied at the New England School of Art & Design in Boston. She worked as a stylist with Francine Zaslow Photography. She is currently employed as a registered nurse and nanny for a South End family. She lived in the Piano Factory for 19 years. A victim of the landlord attacks on tenants, she has been forced to move because of outrageous rent increases. She will be sorely missed. She is part of the "Great Move-out of 1999."

Donna Asali, Awarded the 1983 Best Actress by the Boston Theatre Critics Circle, and cited by the Boston Herald's Arthur Friedman as "one of Boston's best actors." Ms Asali is a veteran of over 25 productions in the Boston area. Her credits include performances in the Wakefield Plays cycle by Israel Horovitz, The House of Blue Leaves, The Glass Menagerie, and Division Street. She has also appeared in film and television. Recently she co-directed and designed costumes for the Open Door Theatre production of Larry Blamire's In The Nations. She has been a stalwart member of the Tenant Organization and tireless in fighting for tenant rights. She is part of the "Great Move-out of 1999."

Mae Arnette, Dancer, director, teacher. She ran a dance studio, Star Step. In 1980, as part of the Boston Jubilee 350, she organized a tour of The Piano Factory for some 23 city mayors (that's worldwide), showing them the living space, and works of resident sculptors, painters, artisans, and performers. She was chosen one of the 350 honorees or outstanding citizens for Boston Jubilee 350.

Michael Atwell, Actor, mime, playwright.

Stella Acellas, Educator, Curriculum Developer, Translator, Ms. Acelas hasworked with Boston College, the Center for Collaborative Education, the Annenberg Institute for School Reform, the National Urban League, the Providence Children's Museum, the Boston Children's Museum, and the Boston Public Schools. She has resided in the Piano Factory for 14 years with her husband, Roberto, and her two children, Camilo and Pablo.
