Born in 1952, Geoff grew up mainly in Adelaide.
After beginning a trade as an Electical Fitter, Geoff decided to study
art at the South Australian School Of Art from 1975-1978, where he gained
a Diploma of Fine Art (Sculpture).

Constructed a piece entitled Beacon,
due to be exhibited at Robert McDougall Gallery in New Zealand.

Working towards an exhibition, to be called Describing
A Line, at Festival centre gallery, Adelaide, January 1982, to coincide
with Beacon installation.

Geoff died in Adelaide, on 21st November, after one
month's undiagnosed illness, aged 29.

In his short career, Geoff had already achieved
many things.After his death a group of his friends, relatives and colleagues
organised a retrospective exhibition and published a book about his work.
