SCARBOROUGH 2000
        The Royal Procession

Leading the Royal Procession was the Scots Guard, with drums drumming and banners flying.

Their Royal Majesties, King Henry VIII and his Queen, Anne Boleyn, salute the assembled multitude of patrons and shirefolk during the Procession.

His Honor, the Lord Mayor of Scarborough (center) with her Ladyship, his wife, follow members of the Royal Court in the parade.

Scarborough's resident bellydancers, Isis and the Stardancers, shake and shimmy their way down village lanes and byways in the Procession.

Other characters in the parade included this heavily armored man-at-arms (left), from Lord Entropy's weapons and armor shop (or so I believe); and the so-called "Rat Lady" of Scarborough (right).
