Author: Tom Williams
As the morning starts so warmly
Firmly held to your sweet love
I thank God for another day of you
And all the stars above
And when times must come for parting
So the daily work is done
I smile thinking toward the afternoon
And things yet to be done
And when the rooster crows so loudly
Bringing conciousness near
I love pulling next to your warmth my love
And to whisper in your ear.
Another day of love and life for us
Another day to let it show
Another day to explore this love of ours
And another day to know
So morning, come so softly,
Dont disturb our sweet embrace
Or the nuzzling of our hands
Or that sweet breath upon my face
And when the time comes for mornings passing
And the rest of the world awaits
I will leave so full of want my love
For another entry to these gates.
