Author: Tom Williams
To the pretty one of splendors never tasted, yet somehow known
A lullaby of admiration that comforts me when all alone
A daydream to get lost in, to just lean back and watch the girl
Who brings him courage just to find a way to walk to her
So taken by the unique essence of this shiny new pearl
And that warmth inside her inviting, mysterious world
She is a vixen with her sweet smile, her face so pretty and fair
Pulls him face first into manhood to admire her even more
Lady lovely plays a heart sound, as the scent of her fills the air
Though I know I cannot be the prince charming she searches for
In dreams, she is here, her head in my lap, my fingers in her hair
Wishing only to admire her, leaving a dream and nothing more
The wonder of this lady I find so captivating to my soul
And the admiration in my blue eyes is for that lady living there
It is the sweet light in a warm night to hold tightly, never cold
Warm and wonderful, the sweet things I know that we could share
Her vision makes my candle flicker, not saying what is yet untold
But in secret, I will hold my dream, my fingers in her hair
