Dear  Barton,

It has been a long time since we last talked. I hope everything is going well in your life. I also hope that you have found your niche.

Jordan and I are well. He and I are happy with our children. They grew up so fast. You'd never recognize Nathan. Twenty years old and thinks he's the next Elvis, God forbid. His father says he will go into medicine.

Now as to the reason I am writing. I am on a mission from the Lord. My daughter, Carrie has sinned. Lying with a boy and carrying the seed of that sinful union. You understand that I cannot allow Carrie to get an abortion. Despite the fact that the child is a bastard and sinful, it should not be murdered.

You are my only hope, Barton. I remember when your sister had a sinful union and the child was spirited away. Our family name can not be sullied. You understand, don’t you?

Please call me at (472)555-5890. Or write me as to how we should handle this.

Sincerely,

Hazel Emmett
