"I miss you when you're not with me." -Remington

To explain what I did last night, I had a Spotfans ICQ meeting for what seemed like hours, then got off Internet and had to call Mommy (not an exciting conversation), then went back on and messed with my homepage, adding in a quotes section, which kept me up till about 11:30 or so. For once, I did not check my e-mail incessantly.

Which, of course, meant that Remington e-mailed me (after calling me...I haven't checked the phone messages either yet) asking me out (rent a movie or watch more Python) . Waaaaah, I missed it!!!! I sent one back saying uh, sorry, can we make that today or tomorrow?

We'll see. If I get this entry finished tonight we'll know what happened- or rather, didn't happen!

6 pm update: Hmm, it won't...he said he'd call 8-9ish after his drinking party, etc. in e-mail. Finally checked his phone message (like hours after I checked e-mail! I'm so bad) and liked it- just a "I assume you're on the Internet, check your e-mail." Not pulling a Sarah (or my mother) and screaming "GET OFF THE INTERNET!!!!" I just had to say that.

Oh yeah, and Megan and Chelsea left a note on my door asking who the guy was I hooked up with...that conversation went well, y'all would be surprised at how we got along. Oh yeah, they want a BIG blowout for my 21st...that will be interesting. I think I'm going to need a bigger place to hold it at...not only is my place kinda small, we're not supposed to have liquor in it.

I think there was other stuff I was going to say, but I don't recall it now. Whatever.

Hmm, Jensen just came by, all friendly-looking again, to mention some academic advising thing going on. Yeah yeah, whatever, I don't care.

My followup: the next a.m. Well, we determined that we'd go rent a Monty Python movie (Holy Grail), and went off to Blockbuster. He hadn't been there in awhile and they couldn't find his account, so he had to go fill out papers (geez, just to get a movie? Sheesh...the automated age is just getting too complicated for me) again. For those who don't go to Blockbuster, there's a spot on the form that you can fill in names of family members who can use your card. Well, Remington put down me (and Yamara, and her roommate and her roommate's boyfriend) down as family members. Hmmmm...I even got a little card (same as his) for it. Although I find the family member bit to be really funny- I mean, either we're married or it's kinda incestuous!

In the car going back to my place he said, "I miss you when you're not with me." Awwwww...I said the same thing. =)

Went back here and actually watched the movie, plus s'more of the Python shows on tape, and well, got up to our usual uh, fun...

Oh, and I found what I think is another hickey...
