My personal bodyguards

"I just want to get pissed and pickle my body..."

This is my older brother, James. We have always been very close because we've had to make it through a lot together while growing up. People are astounded at how close we are. We are more like friends (and sometime people think we're lovers since we're so affectionate) than siblings. We do almost everything together. It feels more like he's my little brother, because I'm the more responsible one and often have to help him out. But if you mess with me, he'll "fuck you up", and so will my little brother, Adrian. It's so much fun going out with the two of them together. They're like my personal bodyguards, though I've always been able to take care of myself.

James is a musian and singer, presently working on a demo tape for his album. His music is awesome! He writes the most incredible lyrics, but now he's starting to use some of my poetry for lyrics, combining it with his "ballady" music to come up with a haunting, edgy feel. Just imagine something like: " I look at you, your fragile butterfly wings tipped with slender claws, and wish to slice you open, climb inside; feel the pulsing blood of your world warm and wet against my skin and in my mouth..." with a "bluesy", romantic melody.

James is like an angel. He has a childlike innocence about him though he's not unexperienced in "the ways of the world". He's very romantic and loads of fun. We have been on many great adventures together - even if it's just doing our ritual exploration into ever dark corner of a new club we're visiting. Check out some pics of some of the "travelling adventures" we've had while journeying to the coast to visit my parents.

This is my younger brother, Adrian. It's only in the past year that we've grown closer. Since he was much younger than James and I, a rift developed. Now we're pretty close. He's just completed his final year in boarding school and will be moving to join James and I in Johannesburg this year to study graphic design. Adrian is also very talented. Like James he is also good at drawing. Besides being a sports hero at school, he writes poetry and sings as well. He's very sweet - charming and a huge amount of fun.

Now for some words of wisdom from Adrian to me (it is quite universal): "I hope you are enjoying life, and are making sure that every day is weirder and wackier than the one before. You must be content with the fact that you are insanely crazy. You must let people know about this fact, and maybe some of these people can refer you to professional people who can help you become grey, normal and boring again. Lots of my friends have told me of professional people who can help me, but personally I prefer being fully wacked.
