Interview with a Natural Born Goddess

My name is Cornelia. Basically I'm your garden variety "artist that seems to have lost her way into the computer industry". Well, I don't find these two worlds very hard to reconcile - but then again I'm "bi" in many aspects of my life. Hell, I'm a Sagitterian - half beast / half mortal!

But that is all par for the course. Fact of the matter remains - I'm an ambitious 24 year old workaholic who has survived several years in the computer industry, and remained creative - doing oil (as well as water-colour) paintings, musical composition, writing, drama and other "arty farty things".

I reside in Johannesburg, South Africa (Melville to be precise), where I shack up with my beloved "Buttercat". They tell me I was born in Zimbabwe (though I'm more convinced I was born on Neptune), and I have lived all over South Africa. My lust for adventure has taken me overseas several times and I have a couple more journeys already on the cards.

I have two gorgeous brothers and a handful of awesome friends, though there are hordes of hooligans who believe they are too. I'm a recovering "life and soul of the party person" (well, getting there), who even enjoys opera and classical music, and ironically seeks solitude. I enjoy everything from contemporary pop and rock to trance music, hard rock, ambiant or ethnic... and everything in between.

For an incurable "wild thing" (as my boss calls me), I dote an awful lot on philosophy and the spiritual aspects of life. My approach to life is filled with many twists and variety. And yes, it's a real tattoo in this picture of me.
