Spiderbaby

I read about this film a few years ago somewhere and have been dying to see it ever since. Lucky for me the film had a reissue on video not too long ago which I read about in Fangoria magazine and I did indeed find a copy at at my local Suncoast video store. And I wasn't disappointed! It's a good and creepy little comedy. For those of you who don't know about the film it concerns the Merrye family who suffers from a disease named after them (since they're the only ones who have it). The Merrye Sydrome "causes its victims to regress mentally to a state of savagery and cannibalism". The film is named after the youngest Merrye, Virginia, who likes to play spider and "sting" her victims with two butcher knives. The tape also has a reunion of some of the cast and crew. Over all, well worth my 15 bucks.
