MY FAVORITES


MEMORIES

It is a cool night with a breeze blowing in
The crickets chirping in the distance let
me know where I've been
My memories of all the times that I've
spent all alone
And all the times of which the real me
no one had known.
All of those thoughts which had burdened
my mind, body and soul,
With shattered dreams with which had
stolen my goal.
Now as i look back I can see a reason
for it all.
For I am much stronger now so I can catch
myself before I fall.
My harvest shall be great as long as
I watch what I plant.
Letting go of my past and living for today
saying I can not I can't.
Remembering all the while that no one is perfect
except my GOD above,
Knowing that no matter how many mistakes
I make He still sends His love
And with His love I can conquer Satans ways
With God and I working together fighting
the trials in the coming days.
We shall be as a team with Him calling
all the moves,
For as long as I do His will
I cannot lose.
Misery will still surely come about,
But myGod shall continue to help me work
things out.
By cherishing the good times and
and dispersing of the bad,
And by remembering happiness and knowing
what to do when I'm sad.
When I am lonely I'll look up to Heaven and
call on my Friend,
For not to do so would show for a
gruesome end
Now I am awake to reality and I've
found it's better this way,
And with my Gods help I shall make it one
more day.
