David Bowie was one concert that I knew we would have to be normal concert goers. He is untouchable, especially at the Starplex. It was the Sound and Vision Tour, so at least we got to see him perform songs from the early part of his career.

We had seats down on the first section of the floor, but very far away. When the concert started, a security guard told us we could go to the front. He said,"Don't run!". Michelle and I totally freaked and were so excited to be at the front. Travis and Ramona made it down eventually.

Luckily, Michelle brought a camera and slipped some pictures in. I was tape recording the concert on this crappy portable tape player. Since I was so close to the front and a security guard, he asked me what I had in my hand. I said, "A Camera.". He didn't believe me, took my tape recorder, ripped out the tape and told me,"You can get thrown out for that. If I see you put another tape in, I'll kick you out." I slipped another tape in and recorded the rest of the concert between my legs. It's horrible quality, but a souvenir nonetheless.

You would think we were at a Madonna concert

We went home afterwards like normal people. Why try with someone that famous? Peter Murphy returns for the summer...
