in depth look at poem: I wrote this poem about and for people who are not saved. This poem descibes the way I, and countless others, have felt in different times. It gives Christ as the answer to all of life's problems. It was featured on this homepage from 2/10/97 to 2/17/97. I have edited it since then.


ask and it shall be given

you
are trapped in a cage
can't escape,
can't find freedom.
Jesus loves you,
He'll help you out.
all you have to do is ask.

you
are trapped in yourself
can't change,
can't find love.
Jesus loves you,
He'll show you His love.
all you have to do is ask.

you
hate youself
can't find peace,
can't find joy.
Jesus loves you,
He'll give you peace and joy.
all you have to do is ask.

you
hate everyone
can't find hope,
can't find acceptance.
Jesus loves you,
He'll accept you.
all you have to do is ask.
