My heart is stirred by a noble theme as I recite
my verses for the King; my tongue is the pen of a skillful writer.
(Psalm 45:1)
I have been extremely blessed with a talent for writing poetry.
And I hope that I can live in His will, so that
His gift (my talent) will not go to waste and that I can use
it for His glory. May God use what He has written through me
to bless you, encourage you, and strengthen you in your walk
with God. May He be illuminated through my poetry, and not me.
There are 4 main areas into which my poetry delves.
four main types of poems that I write. Click on the
one you want to go furthur into. (find out why I write
that type of poetry, how many of that type of poetry
that I have written, and actually read some of my
poems.)
Poems about my Lord and Savior.
Poems about my depression and anger.
Poems about females that have come along in my life.
Poems about issues.

The Lord has blessed me with the
ability to write poems. So I therefore want to, and
hope that I do, write for Him and about how He has
blessed my life. The joy and peace that come from my
relationship with Him inspire me to write many poems
that do truly reflect how much I love Him and how much
He loves every one of us.
This portion of my poetry takes up about 40 % of the
poetry that I have written. I know that that is not
anywhere near what it should be, but I am working on
it constantly.

I am a loner and have many a time where I sit and ponder my loneliness. These poems I write are a true reflection of my feelings, and are also a very easy way for me to get rid of the pain. Writing these poems helps me express a side of myself that many try to hide and therefore fill themselves with all this pain and then they explode. I feel that these poems are a healthy release of some of the pain that invades my life.
So, many of you are probably wondering, why are you sharing these poems to the world? I share them because I think that I might be able to help someone (or find help myself) by posting these poems. People may read them and realize that they are not alone in the pain that they are in, people may read it and realize that they have been there before and can help me by giving me advice on how to deal with the pain next time it comes. I also feel that some of my better poetry is the depressing stuff. And like a true reflection of my poetry should, this collection (this page) contains some of my depressing poetry.
This type of poetry is about 40 % of the stuff I have written.
That means that I have written about 200 depressing poems. Some of
them are a lot more suicidal than others, but they are all depressing.
Here are some of the better ones:
rhyming suicide (February 5, 1996)
I scream, I cry (May 31, 1996)
I am so stupid (October 4, 1996)

Every once in a while an extra ordinary female crosses your path. She seems to brighten your days, all with a simple word. Just her presence is enough to change your whole attitude. She doesn't have to be pretty or any of the other things that society looks for in a woman. She just has to have that beauty inside.
These poems are an expression of the feelings that I have when I am with (not necessarily face to face....on the computer to.) some of these females that I am blessed to have in my life.
I write and display these poems to let the people who mean more to me than anything (except the Lord) that I care about them. I don't want to keep silent and have them not know how much they mean to me.
This type of poem takes up about 18 % of the poetry that I write.
