His eternal dedication to me

God has become
my hope when I'm in despair,
my peace when I'm struggling,
my strength when I'm weak,
my love when I'm lonely...
His eternal dedication to me
is what allows me to go on.

God has become
my patience when I'm impatient,
my kindness when I'm inconsiderant,
my goodness when I'm selfish,
my meekness when I'm prideful...
His eternal dedication to me
is what allows me to be like Him.

God has become
my security when I'm floating,
my focus when I'm waivering,
my comfort when I'm in pain,
my acceptance when I'm cast out...
His eternal dedication to me
is what allows me to go on.

God has become
my friendliness when I'm mean,
my gentleness when I'm too rough,
my faithfulness when I'm unfaithful,
my self-control when I'm frustrated...
His eternal dedication to me
is what allows me to be like Him.
