in depth look at poem: poetaster = a writer of mediocre
verse.

a poetaster of many sorts
today I'm not as well as I was before,
for the horror of absence
has ripped me apart and set me off
into a world of nowhere,
with a ruler of no one...
I'm becoming nothing
but a mirage of meaningless
babblings and poetic misguides...
I've become a poetaster
of many sorts...
today I'm not as well as I was before,
for the emptiness of emptiness
has ripped me in two and thrown me
into a cage of rage,
with no friend but the walls....
I'm becoming nothing
but a facade of pointless
doodlings and poetic misfits...
I've become a poetaster
of many sorts...
