never have I

never have I felt such love
for a woman....
never have I longed to spend so much time
with a woman...
never have I been willing to do anything
for a woman....
never have I cherished my friendship
with a woman...

until you came along and changed that.
you destroyed all of my fears,
my insecurities...
my pain...
my depression...
you’ve taken away the hindrances
to a life lived.....
you filled me with joy,
peace...
happiness...
security (in who I am in God and as a poet)...
you’ve changed my life for the better.

never have I known a woman
as beautiful (if your words tell how beautiful you are, then nothing could compare to your beauty)...
as kind (you have such a kind personality and is fervently shown)...
as caring and compassionate (you cared for me before you knew me)...
as you Kelly.

you have become the jewel of my day.
all I have to do is say your name
and my worries float away.
