Gallery Glass Creations
- Part 3 -

Switch Plate Covers

Originally I just painted my switch plate covers with acrylic craft paint.

Then one day I decided that gallery glass was a paint after all and maybe it could be used like craft paints after all.

I did not want to use the liquid lead to outline my design as I found the lead lines would be too thick. So I used black dimensional fabric paint instead. To speed up the drying I used the hair dryer and then painted in the design with a paint brush.

My first experiment was the house. Then came the turtle and finally my famous boy. I think they all turned out quite well.

Gallery Glass gives the plate covers a tile-like look. I did not put a sealer on top of the Gallery Glass.
