The Chaos Art Gallery

The images in this file have all ben generated by me using the Fractint package developed by the Stone Soup Group. Fractint is published as free software under terms similar to the GNU Public Licence. Versions are available for Dos, OS/2, X-11 and possibly others.

The thumbnail images are all 84x68 JPEG , the full size versions are 640x480x256 GIF-87a or JPEG unless otherwize noted.

Someday I'll add tutorial information on how to produce your own images if you're having trouble figuring them out.

I had to convert several of the images to JPEG because they were eating up too much disk space. If I felt it degraded the image too much, I left them as GIFs.

A Cool Blue Julia Set Blue-J
This is one of the first 'keepers' I created, and still one of my favorites.

A Fractal Space Scene Frontier
Someting that looks like it belongs in the Trek titles.

A cool, angular fractal. Snowflake
Annother example of nonlinar systems mimicing the recursive structures found in nature.

A barely disconnected julia set. Eye Cycle
This one is really cool to run a color cycler on.

A Julibrot rendring. JuliBrot
A pseudo-rendering of a three dimentinal slice through the four dimnetional julia/mandelbrot set.

A Colorfull tesselation. Play
The result of tweaking various parameters on how the image was drawn. This one took forever to calculate.

An odd spiral form. Spirals
A riot of bright colors, still pleasing. I need to go back and explore the micro-structure of this fractal.

Well, Thats all for now, maybe more later.
