What did Mike and I do on Valentine's day?
That's right...we're engaged! He bought me a box of Godiva chocolates to throw me off the trail, took me out to play video games and then after we finished up the quarters, he got down on bended knee and proposed to me.
We don't know dates yet, so don't ask. When we figure out when he's graduating, we'll go from there and invite everyone we know. (2/15/99)
Update:
We have narrowed down the date to the first two weeks of November, 2000 or early spring, 2001.
So far the plans include:
- green and white color scheme
- Russ and Wendy's dad giving Wendy away
- Robin, Alyssa, Eric and Sue being the brides' attendants
- we're doing it at trinity cathedral in Sacramento
- we're thinking about various themes for the reception...we know we'll probably do some star wars stuff, possibly something with live herbs, and there will be Weird Al Yankovich aplenty. :)
