I've been avoiding my steroids, so far, but I know I'm on the edge of needing them and bad.

And I'd like to express my general resentment about not being able to exercise. I realize I can "get back to it" but I hate to give up a groove like that. When I get into the groove of exercising, I long for it more than nookie.

My food's been pretty okay, so my sugars have been pretty good, but I'm so irritable about the exercise thing. It's so bad around here that even exercising in the house isn't an option and I'm just so freakin' cranky!

Today was the first day of school and I've been kidless all day. Apparently, so is everyone else today because Wal-mart was packed! Someone was commenting on how many people were around today and said they didn't expect it because it was the first day of school. Are you kidding? Mother's all over the state have been biding their time and waiting for this moment to go shop in peace.

I shopped in peace. I got everyone outfitted. It was truly wonderful. I got Genny completely outfitted for winter. They had so many cute Garanimal shirts and pants a Wal-mart for $2.88 I nearly wet myself for joy. Okay, so I wasn't losing bladder control, but they had some darned cute outfits.

I heard some guy (nutcase) on the radio today talking about how women get aroused when they breastfeed and how it should be outlawed because women get turned on by the nipple stimulus and therefore, are developing incestuous relationships with their kids. He said he was presenting research to Yale (yeah right!) documenting how breastfed babies were more apt to be addicts, alcoholics, and criminals. He was saying that it was okay for the first three months, but that after that women should pump their breasts and feed it to the baby from a bottle.

All I could think is: he must be a breast man and a damned insane one.
