5/98. Now you are at the Rhine River, Germany's claim to fame among the
other goodies such as beer, weiner schnitzel, beer, bratwurst, beer,
wine and beer. Apartments line the River on both sides as does a camp
ground (we should have taken that tent!). Quite often you can see
tourist boats and paddle-wheelers float by almost as often as a
roller-blader on the wide side walk along the River bank. It was
obvious to Shelton and I that rollerblading and ice-cream stands are in
and that the frisbee hasn't quite hit Germany yet by the somewhat odd
looks we got when we were throwing the frisbee around on the parkway
next to the Rhine. And then there was the sunset... |
