"Big Meadows"
7-17-97

The beauty around me, it overwhelms my soul.
From the tallest peaks to the smallest pebble,
There is beauty.
It is found in the flowers, the grasses, the trees.
It is beautiful and I am part of it.

"Awesome Reality"
7-3-97 to 7-15-97

A definitive edge, separating two worlds.
A layer of mist obscuring the line,
But it still is visible, the line never ceases to exist.
And it is amazing, the way it is constant.
Over the horizon it still stands.
Nothing ever keeps stands in the way of it showing itself to me.

"Random Beauty"
7-15-97

A serene spot on the ground,
Beautiful in itself, knowing no limits,
And having no restrictions . . .
But it chooses to be secluded.
Sticking to itself and beautiful.

"Sight Seen While Scanning the Horizon"
7-15-97

Far away in the distance, they seem to give me solace.
Their calmness and solidity force me to change my thinking.
They make me realize how much I have and how much it means to me.
The show how beautiful the world is.
I cry, not because I'm sad, but because I am overwhelmed by the beauty.
There are mountains in the distance and they will always have my love.

"Hill"
7-18-97

Walking upwards, always upwards.
Never stopping for a long enough time.
It is nice, but it is nicer still going downhill.

"Lightning"
7-21-97

The line streaking, screaming towards the Earth.
Full of energy, vigor and strength.
It stretches and leaps towards the ground.
It stretches and leaps towards the clouds.
When seen off in the distance, it is beautiful.
But when it reaches you, you are sorry you misjudged its power.

"Waterfall Horizon"
7-25-97

Climbing to the top,
Not knowing what is there.
Amazed by the power,
Awestruck by the beauty.
Finding the hidden meaning,
And coming closer to your dreams.
All this and more, all on top of a waterfall.
