WET 35

I hope you have fun with WET 35! If you download the PSP version, there are 3 layers: the tile on a transparent background, the apples on a transparent background, and the ghostpipe on a black background. Feel free to use any or all of the images this week. :)

WET 35: Beach Party

WET 35: Beach Party

I've been dreaming of Puerto Vallarta again! This is set on the terrance of a casa a few miles up the beach from PV in Jalisco, Mexico. I can't wait to find this dream house!

The seahorse cocktail picks were created from the "ghost pipe" image (distorted and color adjusted); The olives were (at one time!) apples (resized and rotated); and the sky and sea were created from the color swatch (blurred and motion blurred).

The table was created horizontally using a "wood" texture, then rotated to the desired angle. The glass was made using the shape tools, variations of the same color, layering and blending.

My Cameo

WET 35: My Cameo

I can't believe I did another one! This one features a cameo of my favorite dragon. (I think he starred in "The Never Ending Story.")

The fabric was created by sharpening the color tile, then copying and pasting a rotated version as a new layer. Then blended (Burn) at 90 percent. I sharpened again using unsharp mask, then rotated it a bit before using it as the first layer.

The pearls were made by distorting an apple that had been blended with the color tile. I made several different distorted versions and tried to use them randomly, drop shadowing each one as I added it.

And the cameo involved blending, embossing, adjusting colors, and then adding a frame using oval shape outline, noise, and hotwaxing. The eyes and nose were created by shrinking and adjusting color on one of my "pearls."

Everything on this page was done in Paint Shop Pro 5, using only the original filters and functions supplied with the program.

I'll be glad to hear from you. :)

This image was created using Paint Shop Pro 5, especially for the WET #35 project.
It is my original creation based on my own scanned object images and an original tile created in PSP 5.
