WET #37: Summer Ruins

WET 37: Summer RuinsThis was a musical weekend for us, so I got a late start on this one. I compared the original to Beethoven's music, and some of the other images people were doing made me think of Wagner (lots of action and strong images). So I decided to be contrary and ended up with a Mozart-style image. :) I selected a small portion from the lower left of the original image, then used a combination of selective deletions, color changes, drastic blurring, and blending layers (using "difference" to achieve the sky color). The final step was to make another full-image layer filled with the soft sky color image and blend it over everything to give the soft effect I wanted. Once I had done this, I simply picked up colors from the image to create the frame, using Fibonacci numbers for the proportions.

![]() This is a smaller version of the original image posted for us to use. Thank you! |
This image was created using Paint Shop Pro 5, especially for the WET #37 project.
It is my original creation based on the original WET image obtained from J. Wayne Rhine on-line
through alt.binaries.comp-graphics.
Thank you!
