...you know how it always seems to be the woman who's dying to get married and the man who's dodging the ball and chain? and then, i've noticed (maybe you have too) that about 75% of all divorces are the wife's idea...my theory about the reason women are the ones who want to marry, and women are the ones who want to divorce, is that it all hinges on the opposite sexes' ideas of what being married will be like, compared to their experience of being married...women think it'll be wonderful, having someone there all the time who loves them, takes care of them, cherishes them, etc., while all men can think of is that they'll lose all their freedom and never be able to do what THEY wanna do anymore...then they get married...and the man discovers that he's got this woman there all the time who loves him, takes care of him, cherishes him, etc., while the woman slowly realizes that she's given up all her freedom
