My first issue of the Avengers was #221.

The cover read something like "Who will be the next Avengers?", and had about 15 heroes on the cover. I was fascinated. After reading it I thought these guys were awesome! And I wanted to find out more. Then came Roger Stern's run. That was great! It made me a fan for life! After Stern's run was over the Avengers went downhill. I started buying their back issues and currently have from 140 and up. My oldest is #38 when Hercules joined. My goal is all of them ofcourse! I have the index which summarizes every issue. I know the Avengers in and out, almost. Down below is just some fan stuff I did.
