Here's
the team that won the school's fourth consecutive I-70 League
Championship, placed third at regionals and STATE TROPHY WINNERS
(3rd place by one point) last season. All seven girls are back
this season and are currently ranked second in Kansas. One cross
country publication picked our Cougar girls as one of their
"Teams to Watch" in the Midwest Region! (thirteen
states are in our Footlocker Region) This season (so far) they
have won the Great Bend Invitational and took second at Hesston's
Swather Special to the top team in the state by three points.
That team is ranked ninth in the country in one poll.
Here is our boys' team that finished
sixth at state last year and were the regional runner's up. We
feel we have at least two seniors who have a great shot at
All-State honors and the team is currently ranked eighth in the
state of Kansas in our classification!

Here is some of the
girls' squad. They are the hardest working and most talented
group that I have had at South High School and our school is VERY
proud of their accomplishments. There are only two seniors on
this squad so look out!

This is our team!
We have the best fan
support and the knowledge that tradition never graduates!
