1572, a year to remember

When we moved into GeoCities we had to find a suitable address. The word "beatnik" came up in the description of SoHo, so we went for it! But which actual number would agree with us?

For that, we looked to the Western Civ history book. 1572 was the year of the St. Bartholemew's Day massacre in France, where bloodshed broke out amongst Christians (no surprise!); apparently Catholics were murdering non-Catholics for some reason that surely seemed really important at the time...

Let us officially state, we in no way condone nor recommend religious violence!

Just trying to teach a little history...also if you add all the numbers up, 1+5+7+2=15, 1+5=6, you get 6, which is half a dozen, like the number of kids in the Brady household if you don't count when Oliver visited, so this is probably symbolic of a tv-viewing American childhood.

Or not.
