The following is only my personal beliefs, and is certainly not the only reason for becoming vegetarian. I think people shouldn't kill animals when they don't need to. There are plenty of fruits, vegetables, grains, beans, etc. out there for people to live on. Why kill innocent animals for no reason? I can understand it if people are starving to death, and there's nothing else to eat; but, in a country like America, where people kill animals just for sport, I think it is wrong. A lot of people reply with, "Well, plants are living too!" and this is my response: every animal and plant is preyed upon. I, as a vegetarian, have decided to do that on a lesser level. Please do not email me regarding my opinion on slaughtering animals. I have gotten several very rude emails attacking my views on this matter. If you disagree, I would appreciate your respecting my opinion as I respect yours.
