Nothing Much

A Poem by
   Elizabeth Krueger
   02/2000

bombs
riots of individualism
crazy boredom of blissful youth
beauty threshold
somewhere in the silence
where laughter,
              music,
                and sleep
do truly capture
a soul
                and drive
        a fly
to jump over to
        that dull street corner
        where car horns
        sound like church bells
