When we look out our front window, we have a spectacular view of Mount St. Helens. At times we have deer coming to our fence and helping themselves to our fruit trees. Wild bunnies and other small animals are also seen from time to time. It is just a wonderful location and we are very happy here. |
We have found, over the years, that samoyeds are very good natured and wonderful companions. They make ideal pets for families with children or other pets.
One thing about Samoyeds, is the fact that they love to dig |

We have a very nice samoyed family. Most are adult dogs, but we kept two of the puppies from our last litter, born in October, 1997. When the puppies were first born, some said they looked like little pigs. That may be true, but in no time, they are looking like little fluffy stuffed toys. I can honestly say that there are no cuter puppies than samoyed puppies. |

If you could ever find an absolute opposite of Samoyeds, it might be the Manchester Terrier. Samoyeds are fairly large dogs with beautiful white, fluffy, long haired coats. Manchester Terriers are small and have short, black coats. The Samoyeds enjoy cooler weather, but Ginger doesn't like it at all. You will find her in front of her portable heater or curled up with a samoyed, trying to keep warm. |
Now here is a dog with personality. She is so funny and is always trying to get away with something with the samoyeds. She will take things from them and is so quick about it, it sometimes happens before they can even react. Even though the samoyeds are generally very good natured, there are times they do have cross "words" with Ginger. She has boundless energy.
Ginger is so good when we have puppies. She enjoys playing with them and treats them very ![]()
