All of these tapes were made by me unless otherwise indicated. Mine were made on cassette recorders, both mono and stereo - indicated by (M) or (S). All are for the full performance unless otherwise indicated. Times are for the length of the cassette, not necessarily the length of the performance.
If you'd like to buy or trade tapes with me, make me an offer at the e-mail link below. I'll sell any tape for $10, cash only; you may supply the tape if you want a particular type, otherwise I'll buy it, and you take what you get.
I trade even-up for tapes, none of this 3 of mine for 1 of yours crap. Also, I won't buy tapes from you under any circumstances, so don't ask.
Finally, unless otherwise noted, all of these shows were in Cow-lumbus, Ohio.
WANTED: FRANK ZAPPA 1988 COLUMBUS SHOW
If you have a copy of the March 1988 show at Veterinarian's Memorial Auditorium, talk to me! I won't pay cash, but I may be amenable to a multiple-mine-for-one-of-yours deal.
TECHNICAL NOTES: all mono recordings were made with a Radio Shack recorder which was so long ago I don't even remember the model. It had a built-in crystal mic, and you can hear the machine noise on all those tapes, though not much. My new stereo recorder is a Sony WM-GX322 Stereo Recording Walkman with an external paired (binaural) mic. This is a truly amazing little device: I cannot praise it enough. They're $79, which with The Man's tax comes to $84+ ... WELL WORTH IT. I urge you to get one before they stop making them!
