Hey everyone. We had a pretty good show at the Recher last night. We want to seriously thank everyone that came out and supported the band. Having our friends, family and fans at our shows means more to us than anything, thank you. We are going to be practicing some more, getting some new tunes down and making them really tight. We'd like to thank Andrew Arceci again for sitting in for Jeremy, it was a pleasure playing with him, and damn can that boy play a wicked bass. For the setlist from last night's show click here. Once again, thanks to everyone that came out. Keep posted for further news on shows and whatnot. Peace Red Forty

Sorry, it's not our rule and we think it sucks, but the Recher has to make money off people that can't buy alcohol. Anyway, we go on around 9:00, so we suggest you all get there no later than 8:50ish. By the way, there will be a VERY, VERY special guest at this show, so you all definietly should come on out, and we promise you will get your moneys worth. Get in contact with one of the members for tickets or email us at RedForty40@aol.com Peace Red Forty

Hey everyone, sorry for the late notice, but the Friends Coffee House was postponed until November 8th. The Student Arts Committee that runs the Coffee House postponed the event until November 8th because a lot of performers had the dreaded SAT tests the next morning. Again, we are extremely sorry incase anyone showed up at Friends and was quite confused. Please come see us November 8th at Friends and we PROMISE to make it worth your while. However, Red Forty did jam tonight and put together a new really, really, tight song. We will be debuting it at the Coffee House so come and check it out. Once again, we apologize for any inconvience we caused anyone. Thanks. Peace Red Forty

We just played a totally groovin' set tonight at The Recher Theatre. Thanks to anyone who came, bought tickets in advance, bought a CD or two, brought their friends and family, or those who just had a fun time jammin' out with us. The set can be found here. Thanks also to Troy Suben for jammin' out. And Troy, yes, you are good.
In other news, long time friend and supporter of the band, who has also played with us at every live show, Steve Frank has decided to join Red Forty as an offical member. THANK YOU STEVE!!
We're trying to get more gigs for this summer and we have set up a tentative date for June 12 or 14 for Troy Suben's summer house party. We also are trying to get set up another the Recher. We will keep you posted for any further news or updates.
On a sad note, today is the anniversary of Bob Marley's death. Bob Marley was a poet, political activist, voice of his nation and a man that changed music forever. Thank you Bob.
Also, sorry to Matt Brower for not letting him do the 'SOY BOMB' stunt...look for that in future shows.
Cheers,

Red Forty talked with Paul Manna at 24/7 Entertainment and the band has been given a show at The Recher Theatre in Towson, MD. The show is tentatively set for May 12, Mother's Day. We understand that you all might have some family obligations, but the doors will open probably after 7 p.m., meaning the earliest we could go onstage would be around 8 p.m., leaving plenty of time for your families.
We will be playing with two other bands which have not yet been announced. When each band is lined up, tickets will be printed in advance for sale of $5.00 each (see band members for tickets). The catch is that no matter when you buy a ticket you will have to pay a total of $10.00 (under 21 extra $5), also we must sell a certain amount of tickets in advance in order to play. PLEASE advise people to purchase tickets early from one of the members.
Thanks to all, and if more information is brought to us we will let you know. Hope we see ya there.
