Grab a matching button or bar by right clicking on it.
Right click on this background, save it as any name you like - it's designed to work with both 640x480 and 800x600 resolutions. After that, you're on your own.
There's bound to be a more elegant way to do it, but here's how I keep my text and stuff from running into a left border: The "unordered list" command works sort of like hitting a tab! Throw one (or two) in there before you start adding text and tables, then just close them at the end. Thank goodness for the Complete Idiot's Guide to HTML!
Love those busy backgrounds, but hate that hard to read text? Get around it by placing your text in tables, or by choosing a text color that contrasts well and sticking with large text (+2 is usually good). |
