To draw something to you: (such as love, money or health) anniont the candle, starting at the wick and working downwards to cover the base
To push or repel something away from you: (such as negitivity, bad luck, or gossip) annoint the candle from base to wick
_________________________________________________________________________________ "Extinguishing Candles"
Some witches will tell you that how you put out a candle has no effect on the working, others will tell you never to blow out a candle put to always pinch it out. Those who argue that candles should only be snuffed and not blown out have two main arguments: that blowing out a candle is like pitting fire against air, and that blowing out a candle blows the magick away from you, while snuffing it holds the magick inside. What you decide to do is a personal desicion.
