There is a window on time
floating passed us

But most of us are afraid to look --
to see what will become of the tall oak
on the corner by the house we were born in.

It is a small window
full of fears and dreams
and could have beens.

But once we dare to look
between the panes of lives
we are caught in a whirlwind of beauty --

And death and birth are meaningless
and guilt disappears.
