Q: Gail writes: "I missed the 'Psycho Halloween' episode. Are you ever going to show it again? All my friends are still talking about it. Please, just show it one more time!"
Gail isn't the only one who has e-mailed us about TWO GUYS' spooky Halloween episode, which featured the unforgettable appearance of Psycho Berg. We're happy to report that the episode will air again on Wednesday, July 28, at 8:00 p.m., ET. Boo!
If you have a question, submit it here.

Q: Doug asks: "Who played Pete's grandfather on the recently repeated [Thanksgiving] episode?"
The recognizable face of Pete's eccentric grandfather belongs to comedian Dick Martin, who is well-known for his days yucking it up on LAUGH-IN.
Q: Katie asks: "I saw Rich on THE X-FILES and was wondering what he liked to do better, comedy or drama?"
Rich replies: "You know, they're two separate things. I have so much fun doing the sitcom, but it was a totally different thing doing drama. It was fun because you're doing something different, and it was cool. And Gillian [Anderson] and David [Duchovny] were really cool. Really nice. I'd like to do it again sometime."
Q: Jenna asks: "Where does Ryan get his hair done? Like, totally awesome."
We're obviously not the only ones who wonder what it would be like to run our fingers through that wavy blond hair, eh, Jenna? Always eager for an excuse to talk to Ryan about his looks, we asked him for his styling secret--and believe it or not, his answer to your question was (and we quote): "At home. I do it myself!"
Q: Sarah asks: "Does Ryan have any brothers or sisters?"
Thinking you might be a long lost relative, Sarah? According to Ryan, he is the youngest of five boys. Oy! We're guessing Mrs. Reynolds had her hands (and house!) full!
Q: Dave writes: "I've never heard Berg, Pete, or Sharon talk about what kind of music they like. What kind of music to they listen to, and what do their real-life counterparts listen to?"
Ryan (we assume is speaking for both himself and Berg) says: "Barenaked Ladies! I like the New Radicals CD. And Led Zeppelin lately, but I'm a little embarrassed about that."
Rich responds: "I think Pete listens to The Barenaked Ladies and I listen to The Barenaked Ladies in real life. They're on our show [May 12] and we should plug them!"
And Traylor answers: "I see Sharon sort of like me. Very eclectic. I hate that because everyone always says that, but I like everything. I don't like rap. It's easier to say what I don't like. I don't like country. . . I've tried. But I can see Sharon listening to old stuff--like the '70s and '60s and show tunes. I think she would secretly like show tunes. Because I'm from the South, I love Southern Rock. My brother always played the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Elton John and Jimmy Hendrix . . . those were the four groups/people that I listened to a lot."
Q: Tanya inquires: "Are Rich, Ryan and Traylor all single?"
At last report, yes! But perhaps Rich stated it best when we ran into him on the set recently for an update. He responded to our query with: "I don't know! Sometimes we're single."
Q: Veronica asks: "What is Ryan's favorite color?"
Ryan answers: "I'm partial to black." (And, no, we don't think he was kidding!) And just for the record, Rich's favorite color is forest green, and Traylor's is turquoise.
Q: Zigy asks: "Was the guy who plays Pete in an episode of THE X-FILES?"
That would be TWO GUYS star Richard Ruccolo you're referring to, Zigy, and yes, Rich recently guest-starred on that other network's hit series. Rich played a character named Agent Peyton Ritter opposite the paranormally-inclined Fox Mulder and Dana Scully in a January episode titled "Tithonus." No word on whether or not Rich will ever reprise his role . . . but given the fact that Agent Ritter accidentally shot Scully in the stomach, we have our doubts!
Q: Many of TWO GUYS fans have written in, asking: "How old are Ryan, Rich and Traylor? What are their birthdays?"
Ryan Reynolds is twenty-two years old. His birthday is October 23. (He's a Scorpio). Richard Ruccolo turned twenty-seven on March 2. (He's a Pisces.) Traylor Howard, a Gemini, was born on June 14. (You didn't really think we'd ask a lady her age, did you?)
Q: Doug and Linda are having a bit of trouble remembering previous guest stars. Doug asks: "Who played Pete's grandfather on 'Two Guys, a Girl and a Thanksgiving'?" And Linda writes: "After watching 'Two Guys, a Girl and a Graduation' I have to ask, who is the actor who portrayed Sharon Carter's father? (For some reason, I seem to recall him playing in a western series?!!?) Thanks for saving my sanity."
Well, Doug, Pete's grandfather was played by legendary actor Dick Martin, most famous for his role on LAUGH IN.
And, Linda, no need to question your sanity here. Joel Higgins, who guested as Mr. Gregory Carter, did star in ABC's 1981 western drama BEST OF THE WEST.
Q: Marie asks: "Did Ryan Reynolds play Seth in the movie SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH?"
Yes, that was Ryan (who has so many acting credits it's impossible to list them all in his bio!). The made for TV movie, which launched the successful TGIF series, originally aired in 1996.
Q: Valarie asks: "If you had to be a pizza topping, which one would you choose and why?"
To assist Valarie in her quest to take over Barbara Walters' job, we were happy to ask Ryan, Rich and Traylor this thought-provoking question.
Traylor answered: "I'm not a plain person, but I like plain pizza."
Ryan didn't hesitate to reveal that he'd be "a hot pepper. Because Traylor's favorite word is spicy!"
Deeply pondering his answer, Rich replied: "I'd like to be the crust, because you always save the best for last."
Q: Catherine asks: "Where can you write to the stars of TWO GUYS, A GIRL AND A PIZZA PLACE?"
Send your fan mail for Ryan, Rich and Traylor c/o:
TWO GUYS, A GIRL AND A PIZZA PLACE
Twentieth Television
10201 West Pico Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90035
Q: Andrew asks: "What is Berg's I.Q.?"
TWO GUYS creator, writer and big cheese, Rick Wiener, reveals: "When he wants it to be, it's very, very high."
Q: Brina asks: "I hear Ryan Reynolds has a dog named Jobey. Where does the name Jobey come from?"
Ryan, affectionately known in some circles as Jobey's master, explains. "I watched a movie called JACOB'S LADDER. Scary, scary movie. And Tim Robbins' son's name was Job, and I just thought that was a beautiful name, so I picked Job. It was either Job or Merlin, but I decided Job."
Q: Lauren asks: "Traylor, what is it like to be the only female character on the show? Is it fun or hard?"
Well, we wouldn't complain about having to work alongside hunky guys like Rich and Ryan! But what does Traylor have to say? "It's always the best to be the only girl! I get tons of attention and they look after me," she says. "And if they bug me, I can hit them and they don't hit back!"
Q: Ada has a beauty question: "Traylor Howard looks so young that even my mom thinks she's 21. How does she keep her skin looking so young?"
"I have to say it's genetics," Traylor says modestly. "My mom has lovely skin. But I always wear sunblock, and get facials once a month. Very important! Oh, and tons of water. It really does make a difference."
Q: Caroline asks: "I know Ryan is Canadian, but I am wondering where in Canada is he from? Just wondering since I am Canadian also."
Ryan hails from Vancouver, British Columbia.
Q: Deveroux asks: "When are we going to see the 'gag reel'"?
While TWO GUYS must boast a growing library of goofs and gaffs, it sounds like we're going to have to wait a while to see them! At least according to co-executive producers Rick Wiener and Kenny Schwartz, who evasively (and optimistically!) answered the question by saying, "Hopefully the 100th episode."
Q: Christian asks: "Will Richard Ruccolo appear with his shirt-off in some chapter of the TV series?"
He already has, Christian! But while you're waiting for the rerun of "Two Guys, A Girl and a Vacation," we suggest you stay tuned to upcoming NEW episodes of the show, too. A new romance is in Pete's future, so who knows, maybe Rich will have more shirtless screen time ahead as well!
Q: Jen asks: "What is the original song which starts the show?"
TWO GUYS' catchy theme was written by the series' music composer Mark Vogel. The music has caught the attention of fans and critics alike--earlier this year Mark was awarded a 1998 BMI Award for TV Music composition. We're sorry to report that the music is not currently available for sale to the public.
Q: Rudy asks: "If Sharon ever had to choose between Pete and Berg, who would win her love?"
Since no one knows Sharon's innermost thoughts better than actress who plays her, we went straight to Traylor Howard for the answer to this one. "Oh, I couldn't choose," Traylor says. "I'd love to combine the two. Then I'd have the perfect guy."
Q: Victoria asks: "Whenever Pete falls in love he sings "Pleasant Valley Sunday" non-stop. What is the story behind that?"
TWO GUYS creator and co-executive producer Rick Wiener tells us that Pete's penchant for "Pleasant Valley Sunday" came out of a rewrite session during which one of the writers spontaneously broke into song. (We can only assume he had had a long day!) Rick reports that everyone started laughing, only to be reminded of HAPPY DAYS and Richie Cunningham crooning "I Found My Thrill on Blueberry Hill" when his love life was going well. Everyone on TWO GUYS loved the idea, and it worked so well onscreen that Pete just keeps on singing.
Q: Brendan has an eye for fashion: "I love the clothes that the guys wear on the show. Where does the show's wardrobe come from? Any name brand stores?"
TWO GUYS costume designer Julie Bloch buys most of Ryan and Rich's clothes from stores like J. Crew, The Gap, Fred Segal and Banana Republic. And in case anyone's wondering, the girl-Traylor Howard--usually sports outfits from Madison and Lisa Klein.
Q: Many of you have asked: "How can I get tickets to a taping?"
TWO GUYS tapes at 20th Century Fox studios in Los Angeles, CA, on most Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. You can reserve up to four complimentary tickets to a taping by calling Paramount Guest Relations at (323) 956-1777. You should allow about five working days for your request to be processed. Tickets are distributed with a first come, first served, automated reservation system. Please keep in mind that you must be 18 years of age or older to attend a taping.
Q: Amy says: "I love Ryan Reynolds. Didn't he used to play Billy on the early nineties Nickelodeon teen soap opera FIFTEEN?"
Yes, he did. In fact, Ryan even received a Youth in Film Awards nomination as Best Young Actor for his work on the series. But FIFTEEN is hardly Ryan's only teenage acting credit--check out Ryan's official network bio to learn all the facts about his career.
Q: Carissa wonders if she's found a connection: "I love Ryan Reynolds . . . like so many others . . . but I was wondering: Was the name Michael 'Berg' Bergen thought of because of Michael Bergin from BAYWATCH? Or is that just a strange coincidence? Thanks-O-Bunches."
Any similarity between TWO GUYS, A GIRL AND A PIZZA PLACE and BAYWATCH is, in fact, just a strange coincidence. The name Michael 'Berg' Bergen was inspired by a good friend (named Michael 'Berg' Bergen) of Kenny Schwartz and Rick Wiener, the show's creators and co-executive producers.
Q: Max writes with this urgent query: "How do you pronounce 'Traylor'?"
A: We don't know about you, Max, but we've never seen the name Traylor before, so we can understand your confusion. For the record, though, it's pronounced just like the word "trailer" (you know, like the kind you hitch to the back of your car).
Q: Tony writes: "I saw on 'Entertainment Tonight' that Jennifer Westfeldt will be on another show. Does that mean she won't be in this season's TGAGAAPP?"
A:
Jennifer Westfeldt--Pete's on-again, off-again girlfriend, Melissa--has indeed left TWO GUYS for the new Fox series HOLDING THE BABY.
