Lake Arrowhead, Waleska, Georgia

Lake Arrowhead  is a beautiful 8,100-acre gated resort development in Cherokee County less than a one-hour drive north from Atlanta.  It is nestled in the high foothills of the southern Appalachian Mountains along the Pine Log Mountain Crest. The lake is 540 acres and has a water depth of 80 feet.  It is the largest privately owned, man made, lake in the state of Georgia.

Lake Arrowhead has a championship golf course with the holes wandering along the lakefront and into the North Georgia foothills.  A pro shop, driving range and putting green complement this awesome course.  The Lake Arrowhead clubhouse is touted as the largest in Georgia.  Water recreation includes swimming, boating , fishing, and water skiing.  Other on-site recreation includes 2 pools (1 Olympic sized), 8 tennis courts, volleyball courts, hiking, horseback riding. Boat dockage is available at the on-site marina.
