Well,
unless you are born independently wealthy, somewhere along the way you
will have a career. No matter what it is, it's important to the ways of
the world.
Not
one career I can think of is unnecessary. Just consider the one we make
fun of the most... The Garbage Men.
Did
you ever think what the world would be like without them? I mean REALLY
THINK about it? Not just the piles of garbage that would be lying around,
waiting to be eaten by some animal scrounging around, or disappear through
biological processes of some sort. I mean....
the
filth would be a breeding ground for disease. How many jobs would
be lost because we don't need the 'Garbage Collection' related products,
like bags (bye bye.... Glad Garbage Bag Man), garbage pails, heck, even
the collection trucks and bulldozers working the dumps, the people who
operate them.... and.... there wouldn't be recycling either, would there?
Yup, the world would be in a sad state, without 'The Garbage Man'. We would
have to watch our every step to see where we put our feet, our photographs
would show us standing in dump-like scenery, and ... swimming in polluted
waters!?!?
I
think it's quite obvious.. they are a "Must haves" too?
And.... at the other end of the scale, the prestigious ones, they too have their place. The dreams , high goals and aspirations of these people make the world a better place too, and in the long run, benefit individuals who reap their livelihood from them.
Now,
the middle ground, where most of us are. You, like me, most likely
have dreams too.
My
career dream is to run my own company, raising reptiles and amphibians.
I work at Flying Lizards, a company that raises geckos and chameleons for the Canadian pet trade. (did
you wonder where my name, Flyliz came from? heehee)
How
about this job? You couldn't pay me enough to do this , but someone has
to put the flag up outside the CN Tower, right? . o O (Glad it ain't me!)

Like any other structure, some one had the job of building it. (Oh, visit some one else's job site... CN Tower in Toronto Ontario You'll see:
