GO PLACIDY
AMID THE NOISE AND THE HASTE,
AND REMEMBER WHAT PEACE
THERE MAY BE IN SILENCE.
Once in a while, you have
to stop what you are doing, and just look around, listen, and think.
See what this world is all
about. Stop and smell the roses. Feel the sun on your face. Enjoy
the breeze blowing through your hair. Run. Jump. Be at peace with yourself
and the world around you.
......Remember what it took, to have all this. All we
take for granted.

"The Ode"
Give unto them this day,
LEST WE FORGET
IF WE BREAK FAITH -
|
In Flanders fields In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead, Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields. Take up your quarrel with the foe;
-Col.
